Dr. Jaclyn Bonder spoke to attendees of the 92Y Women's Health Summit, on April 29th, about current pain treatment options for women including things that could be done everyday to reduce inflammation and pain.
Dr. Alfred Gellhorn publishes the results of his study which looks at the effect of dehydrated human amniotic/chorionic membrane (dHACM) allograft injections on tendinopathy and osteoarthritis. The dHACM allograft injection is a regenerative technique looking to stimulate the healing capacity of injured tissues.
Results showed that patients had a decrease in pain and improvement in function 1, 2, 3 months post injection.
