Dr. Jaclyn Bonder, medical director for Women's Health Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine Center, spoke with The Washington Post about the unspoken compliciations of getting back in shape after having a baby. According to the article, due to lack of information for postpartum exercise, women don't know what is normal or abnormal on their return to fitness journey. Dr. Bonder recommends that struggling postpartum women should make an appointment with a physiatrist specializing in pelvic health to get an accurate diagnosis.
